I talk to thousands of people across America and ask them what they think about their speaking voice!  They reply: "I HATE IT!"  The reason is when they hear their voice on a recording devise, it does not sound like the voice they are used to hearing.  The reason is the fact that we only HEAR THIRTY PERCENT how we sound through the outer ear.  We feel approximately SEVENTY PER CENT THROUGH THE THIRD EAR INSIDE ...CALLED THE COCHLEA through bone conduction.  When one speaks correctly, they should remember "how it feels" and program it in their memory bank.

We seldom "over-use the voice," we often mis-use and/or abuse it!  All individuals can learn to speak correctly.  Many times we "habituate incorrectness" and accept it as the "norm."  Habits are not broken.  They are replaced with new ones.  

Great speakers are those with "ordinary voices."  However, they must always have a very insatiable appetite with a very unusual desire, discipline and constant determination to be one.  The biggest words in speaking correctly is THINK, LISTEN AND FEEL THE SOUND while speaking.
